Rangers 'brand'

Read by this time an article in The Daily Telegraph about the new club's commercial director, Ali Russell. While I was reading in the style of marketing management (say, not bad, though a bit superficial), I understand that the expansion of the club's image is necessary. It’s always good generating more income at Ibrox. We will not deny it now. A situation that other notesbelow. At times, and this is an individual interpretation, it seems that Russell lies on the cold calculation and does not account for the passions that arise.

Not bad play an Old Firm derby in the U.S., is a spectator sport that anyone would want to attend. I would give anything to have for singing Follow Follow with fans in the stands or listening to Simply The Best. I would love to wave the flag of the Light Blues against Celtic.

But I imagine it would be interesting scenario that transcended great Anglo-Saxon countries. Russell, said the United States, Canada and Australia. I understand that these countries havemany fans, is normal. Also, look for new places: Asia and South America. There are countrieswith large populations of British football fans. You have to be tested. We must study the markets.

In The Scotman newspapers, announces that Russell intends to make a cross-border revivethe League Cup competition in Could Both Scotland and England. Back to the old Texaco Cup in the seventies? At this point, I agree with Russell, to a competition between the two championships would be interesting. It would highlight the value of Scottish football.

I'll be back for a minute at a personal matter. And I promise not to punish them further with this topic. When I want to buy a Rangers jersey I have to make a pilgrimage like Muslims to Mecca. A promotion policy should aim to bring: more televised games for the world, more shirts flooding the stores in the world.

Rangers have a tradition, a principle we all learned to love over the years. An image. IbroxPark, Murray Park are places that are immortalized in our retinas. Ibrox is priceless. It is a value in itself. Ibrox Park and the adjacent and surrounding could be revitalized. That would be great.

Several changes seem to envision the club. It is important not to lose their identity, which determines us. And identity is a product of what all the fans to make this club the best in the world.
