Rangers Legends 1-0 Milan Glorie

For those who have more than 30 years, see this match meant a dream come true. A comprehensive exercise of memory, rich in memories, where feelings and passion touched our door several times to move us. A Scottish friend, of Greenock, big fan, which usually goes to all fields with our beloved club, described to me in a private message on Facebook that the match it back to younger times he saw Super-Ally score goals. I felt the same. I want to add something, see the goal and the celebration of Ally, left me speechless. For me, no words in any language to describe those feelings.

I enjoyed the event from start to finish. I must confess that I came on the hour to watch the match, which was delayed beyond. And the first image that appeared in RangersTV was families, children in the traditional magical atmosphere of Ibrox. And 47.521 souls in habited many as live in the world. It was great succession of phrases that fans write in social networks. That´s what I call loyalty, sense of belonging. One of the first emotions was the field trip. Albertz raised arms, the loud cry GIO, GIO, GIO, Laudrup´s income, when more excitement, Super-Ally!! After the photo with the Milan Glorie players, Baresi, Maldini, Costacurta, Lentini, Papin, etc etc etc…A vibrant scene.

The start was uneventful. Alex Rae emerged as the benchmark for starting the best moves, he kicked from outside the area, but then had to leave, injured, and enter Gordon Durie. Brian Laudrup took the reins of the match, teamed with Ronald de Boer and progressed in the field, playing the ball. Brian showed that the quality and talent is not lost, made several dribbles devilish, on several occasions snubbed the rival (his classic play) and gave the ball to a teammate well positioned to define

De Boer also played an outstanding first half, he became a star he always called the ball, he began playing on the right, there was sharp, but then went the center, and he came close to scoring a goal. Another Dutchman, a phenomenon, Gio Van Bronkhorst shot the best centers from the left and Abbiati stopped him and took away the goal. Michael Mols was the reference in the area, much of the first half, he played back to goal, held the ball for Albertz, Laudrup or other long-distance shot.

What luxury to have a defense to Richard Gough and David Weir. Two veterans of a thousand battles they fought in the past the honor of our club. Gough, another highly praised, was in central defense has yet to demonstrate that quality. Weir played more as a winger on the right, but when Gough came to be marked, Weir returned to central defense.

The Milan attacks were somewhat weary but effective. After a confusion of two our players un midfield, Milan recovered the ball, Papin went alone to face Goram, Lorenzo Amoruso appeared suddenly told the French, you will not go over here and cut the attack, applause and encouragement from the crowd was a roar. Amoruso raised his hands and clapped.

The action I expected a The Goalie. Averaging the first half, great move for Milan ends in a header from Lentini. There, Goram was showcased for the first time that night. He covered a ball impossible.

The second times we had booked a unique, great, and unforgettable. I would want to confess something, see Ally score the goal took me back to those who watched videos on VHS when I was young, seeing the goal and the display read the name McCoist. I grew up with McCoist as an icon, synonymous with Rangers. Ally took over from Davie, another monster (here the word monster means also a majestic description), another idol. With all the stand cheering, the match continued, but McCoist had already written, once again, his name in the history of this glorious club. Head in the stadium: Super-Ally, Super-Ally, ole, ole, ole, Super-Ally, Super-Ally, ole, ole, ole.

I´m happy to be a contemporary of him. This value will take for the rest of my life.  The goal began with an overflow from the left by Gio, he pulled a cross, Super-Ally anticipated the central defender and he put a header 1-0. As in his best periods of scorer, Ally knows how and where to stand to receive the ball and score. If you see the replay, as he still finds the space. Brilliant.

On two occasions, Marvin Andrews made his mark, first Lantignotti squeezing a ball and then Fuser. At that time, Rangers defense was an impenetrable wall, not ley in anyone from Milan. For this reason, they had to kick from outside the area. When The Goalie tackled a ball, and then rolled several times on the floor. That sense of humor, master. Andy a chance to cover goal, then Massaro scored in offside and Goram ran to embrace the linesman, who had claimed offside.

If the atmosphere was pleasant, full of songs, cheered and impact. The end has no waste, could be defined as the reaffirmation of the reason for Rangers..The players greeted the audience; they went around the whole field. The four sides applauded the passage of the legendary stars, Albertz and The Golie danced together to the rhythm of Penny Arcade, Arthur Numan strong singing Simply The Best, Mark Hateley was greeted with Trevo Steven (I would have liked to see a few minutes playing the deadly duo Hateley-McCoist), then the cameras focused on an exultant Ally, Milan´s shirt, he raised his arms and clapped to the public.

Thank you Rangers for giving me so much life, such passion, such pride. WATP
