Rangers have taken former Germany international winger David Odonkor on trial. He will spend “the next few days” training at Murray Park. Odonkor, right-sided player, had a bright future ahead, his prodigious legs allowed him to reach 100 meters in just 10.8 seconds, making it possibly the fastest player in the World. The impressive speed gave him a clear advantage in the field, but very seldom was able to use because, three years ago, a serious injury to the cartilage of the knee in his way to success.
The player underwent several surgeries and endless rehabilitation sessions. Still, the injury never quite left him. During the five seasons he was in the Betis, Odonkor continued relapses prevented him from playing regularly.
Theirs is a drama, a cluster of bad luck. The injury suffered was nothing exceptional, but if their postoperative complications.
