Arbroath 0-4 Rangers. Road to May 19

Since we turned to disappointment in Falkirk, we wanted to leave behind the unpleasant instance. On many occasions, I´ve heard talk Super Ally about the mentality.  It is a terrible mood can affect individual and collective performance. Some of our players took the initiative. No appeasing left by the injury problems and have started the year in full swing.
New perspectives. One of the highest points in Gayfield Park for Rangers was the creation of game. The collective meeting, the creative process, the constant search for a mate unmarked, short strokes. The goals were the product of collective plays, a feature most consistently required the team to be more solid. A very auspicious.
The Red Lichtiesse, an ambitious team initially was proposed to wait and get playing fair and, at times, the first half they tried. They had several chances but Rangers supremacy was reflected in two goals, which calmed the waters.
Edu was gravitating and solid. He defended, set the mark, and attacked with certainty. He clearly knew how to read the game. A field of small dimensions, visibly in poor condition, required short strokes, no more make a move, receive and pass the ball instantly. Generate complementarily. Healy´s goal is a brilliant work that Edu was able to think. A simple and effective game. The American bowed to Jelavic, who held the ball to return it to Edu. A pass millimeter Healy left in front of goal.  And the striker in a state of grace scored.
Here we must point out the complicity of John Fleck, a smart player with the ball, one of the best partners (Aluko, too) with Edu in the midfield. Although during the match saw him play a defensive role (which many fans support them), requiring that burst the ball (sometimes we lost the ball as a result). I do not see Fleck as a player to fulfill that role. He should cater to the forwards.
In the second half, at least initially, I saw The Rangers in a hurry, we do a game without consequences precipitated healthy. And this happened not only with the Arbroath, impatience leads to an erratic play in the loss of the position of the ball. In that instance is the opponent who has to fear the worst. The rivals have to fear us. They have to mark Lee Wallace, flawless and relentless player, which I´m not going to get tired of praising. All day amazes me. Aluko, never mind, the best style Laudrup left to Jella, the shark in the area to define.  Aluko´s arriva gave The Rangers a higher court on offense, both to keep the ball to overflowing, stop, do pass by rivals. Excellent.
I want to finish these words. We are all Samir Zizou Kerkar!!!

Rangers 3-0 Motherwell. Always Remembered.

January 2 is a day of memories, every year to this date, I get ready for the minute of silence and I wish you a sincere respect for the families of the 66 people who died in the Ibrox Disaster of 1971. And always, I must confess, I was struck by the respect that is in the stadium during the minute´s silence. That excites me, me goose bumps, I suppose that the expression must have the same meaning in English, is emotion. It is a silence that says a lot.
Rangers 3-0 Motherwell. The most important thing is that we won and well, without discussions. We have improved in many ways. And much of this performance is a consequence of abandoning the anonymity of Steven Davis. He resurfaced. And unlike recent matches, Davis called for the ball, moved, more determined, -as he likes to say to my friend Tom Miller-, was to receive it and made a series of combinations that came with the player who started the season by getting the captaincy.
Takes a few minutes for the match, I was reading some twitters, when someone dropped the Word Healy. The Northern Ireland entered the starting lineup, for Jelavic. The lack of information on Twitter flooded with all kinds of assumptions, even the most disparate. There, stunned, I wrote in Twitter, Healy?... Immediately the answer came from my friend @WilliamPye: “He´s our secret weapon ;-)” And indeed it was.
Healy is the kind of old-style British central striker, I think it just needs to pitch, but is installed in the area. Always willing to lose some teeth in fights with the central defenders, going to the limit, a gladiator in the area. Healy played, at various times in his back to goal. He curtain, obscuring the vision of the goalkeeper, he endured and gave the ball back to Davis and Fleck throw from afar. And Healy´s goal is also typically British. We do not detract from Mo Edu, thanks to his perseverance and determination won the position and gave the ball to the flautist of Killyleagh. He turned around and moved the ball in slow motion, to the goal.
The first half I left a slightly bitter taste, very solemn, predictable. Yes, indeed, Healy made the goal and The Rangers opened a potential prelude to be consolidated into the second half.  But the initiative failed, as it were, out of that stiff position, look for alternatives. There was clearly to distribute the ball. In those moments, I wrote: What transmits the team? … The second half, as has been all season, the team went another way-
The injuries. This is one of the great karma that accompanied us throughout the season. We had many injuries. The latter was Kyle, which added to the irregularity of his game, has to suffer in recent months all kinds of injuries. The hernia that would not let him start the season, back pain and now “a big, big blow” as say Super-Ally in the subsequent press conference. Five weeks out?
Lafferty´s injury led to the premature entry of Fleck. A promise? I agree with Super-Ally that he needs continuity. Recall that John had 20 years. Although in normal conditions Fleck should play in any formation. Against Motherwell, he showed he has ability to commit to the movement of game. He was a link with Healy and Aluko, looking for spaces, distanced himself. With the possession of the ball, Fleck made the difference. He is a player made for the transition, to supply the attack, along with the rest of the midfield, looking for holes to drill and progress.
The Rangers often unable to put together game and progress. Sometimes it turns into a frantic search that ends in the loss of the ball. The inclusion of Fleck may be the kick in the search for better movement and less impulsive handled. It would be a terrible mistake that Fleck was on loan to Blackpool for two reasons: it proved to have the guts to play and Lafferty is injured.
If anyone has assured the shirt is Lee Wallace. Which player! If today you ask me what to play?  I replied, “and makes them all great”. It is complete, make, overflows, centers, header (like that great goal he scored against Celtic on Wednesday, but the referees were prisoners of their blindness) is another weapon on offense, that hurts. In the afternoon at Ibrox, he showed that is above adversity. On several occasions, Wallace was fouled by Tim Clancy, who had liberated area to do anything, but he kepy going, facing.
Finaly, Aluko was the man of the match. A player as they move the dates has become the fantasist. When he takes the ball no one knows what he will do and that´s great. Added surprise is the speed. Aluko Magic, Magic!!!
Always remebered. RIP 66
