Super Ally will not push the panic button

A few minutes ago I read on the Internet that Ally McCoist wanted the positive aspects of the game. And he probably anticipated what I wanted to write the blog while watching the game against Chelsea, even when the Jelavic goal ocurred. Ally McCoist, blooded a host of youngsters here, partly through necessity rather than choice.

Jordan McMillan was very safe, solid, on the right side, a pleasant surprise. I think he has a future. He would be the ideal to replacement Whittaker.

It was great to see Jamie Ness introduced into the second half, it´s all talent. Those who are reading this blog, know that the midfield is one of my concerns. Steven Davis is unique, no comparison, but I need someone to accompany you, press and distribute the ball by the diferent sides. Hutton probably met those conditions in the game. We will continue closely watch his career development. Davis, much more effective in a central role, was the architect with a surfing run from the halfway line followed by a perfectly-weighted pass to release Steven Naismith on the right.

Nikica Jelavic scored the game´s opening goal, headed home from a perfect cross by Steven Naismith. Jelavic´s interventiob roused Chelsea, whose defence, in particular, had looked shaky in the early stages. The goal played out the excellent connection Davis-Naismith-Jelavic, a trideny and a force to be reckoned with. Davis deserved great credit for his part in it.

Friends, we enjoy Naisy, he is a fantastic player, as well as skilled. He will make  sacrifices for the team. Although quite back to midfield during the match, partly due to the Chelsea game, he was always one step ahead.

One of the weakness´s in the team, in my view, was the performance of Juan Manuel Ortiz. Inaccurate with the ball, did not moved well, did not throw a cross or shot poorly, losing the ball easily and was guilty in the giving away of the penalty (Ortiz hauled down Drogba inside the area). I understand he needs time to adapt, but he is not fulfilling its role. Wylde finished last season with a great performance, I think it´s their time. For me, Papac and Wylde must be the owners of the left sector

This was a friendly in the truest sense of the word. When Rangers and Chelsea meet, there is never a shortage of mutual appreciation. As Andrew Dickson said in comments on the Rangers official website over the last 20 minutes of the game: “the game has certainly taken on the feel of a training game…” Very accurate description!!

Rangers have announced that Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley has re-joined the SPL champions on loan.

Bartley, 20, spent the second half of last campaign at Ibrox and he made five SPL starts for Rangers, scoring once, before suffering a knee injury. The centre-back signed a new contract with Arsenal on Wednesday and appeared for the club during their recent Emirates Cup tournament, netting an own goal. Gers boss Ally McCoist told the club's official website: "I'm pleased that we are getting Kyle back. He had good experience with us last season so he will find it easy to fit back in with the squad again.

"He is a good young player with a big future in the game so I'm delighted to get him back in. I have to thank Arsenal for letting us have him and I'm sure he will do very well. "We kept in contact with them over the summer and I knew that they wanted to use Kyle in the Emirates Cup at the weekend. However, we have managed to do a deal now and he will be a good addition to our squad."

Unprofessional attitudes did not help the cause of The Rangers

The coaches put together games for weeks, watching videos of his rivals, point to faults, prepare the right tactics and expect their players meet in the field previously spoken with can give that magic touch and spontaneity of football and most of the time makes a difference in the outcome. But the tactics and strategy can be broken by certain individual attitudes like Whittaker. It is a professional player, but his attitude was disappointing yesterday. Someone can tell me, but this is football, you play the rev limit was an exigent circumstance. But it was the first time, and Whittaker had the time to think twice.

Ally last night blamed a lack of discipline from two of his players for the red cards that cost his club a place in the play-off round of Champions League qualifying. He said: “I haven’t seen the red cards again. I would have to say, I’m disappointed in the players for giving the ref the opportunity to get a red card. “I’ll have a good look at them tonight or tomorrow. What we said at half-time, looking at how the game was going, was that we thought there was a possibility that the referee might send somebody else off. Overall, I’m very disappointed that the players gave the referee the opportunity to send them off.”

The atmosphere was noisy and hostile and occasionally the players’ tempers bubbled over into bad tackles and confrontations. They all knew what they were playing for. The stakes were high and a tense, tight match reflected that.

Rangers will be in draw for the Europa League play-off round, but supporters have become increasingly unhappy about the lack of signings and the obvious need for new blood. 

In the last hours I read on Twitter and Facebook that many fans wondered how they would receive on Saturday Whittaker in the game against Chelsea. Friends, I do not like playing Whittaker, I got angry every time he lost the ball with Hearts, or against Malmo at Ibrox, but I think we have to support the project Ally. We need to stop the press these forced comparisons with the stage manager John Greig as they vent bad feelings in difficult times. Even in the time of the Nine-in-a-row were out of the Champions League and yet we go forward. We must support the team, learn form what happened to us. WATP
